How many cups of tea do you drink per day? On average, there are 2.6 cups consumed per person per day. From early risers who measure their days by tea cups to late night owls who only have their evening tea time. As the awareness of health and well-being benefits of tea is increasing, it is perhaps the most exciting time to explore herbal teas and their impact throughout the day. For this reason we have created a list of teas to brew during day.
6:00 AM – 8:00 AM first sip of the day
There are many purposes for morning tea time. Some are keen to wake up early to enjoy calming time before the day kicks off. Others may prefer to have just enough time in the morning to have a quick breakfast and an energy-booster.
Calming mornings: Blossom tea will provide you with balancing effect and open up for sweet nuances.
Quick mornings: Nordic Black tea will have your back. You can always switch between Nordic Black and Nordic Green teas to spice up your morning routine.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM early in the day
Add some silver lining to your day with more scented and aromatic teas.
Still need to wake up: go on and take round No.2 for Nordic Black tea. Alternatively, Cowslip tea is something to consider to lighten up the tea experience and yet have an uplifting effetc.
Feeling balanced: you might be surprised of the taste and vivid aroma or Oregano tea. Due to its characteristics and richness of essential oils, it is good to be paired with snacks and light meals.
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM early afternoon
Stay hydrated and energyzed after lunch and pick teas that will serve you well. Our recommendation is to have a sip of thee bold teas: Lady’s mantle teawill improve metabolism and add a scent of summer to your work day. Yarrow tea, besides its slightly bitter taste, is to be sipped in smaller amounts. Just enough to boost your immunity and have a long-term impact on longevity (do not use Yaroow tea during pregnancy or brestfeeding).
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM enjoy your hobbies and downtime
What is a better accessory to your evening walk than a cup of take-away tea? A friend with whom to share it! Around this time of the day we recommend to look for balancing and light teas that can accompany your activities. Blossom tea will serve you well and add a beautiful, colourful flower experience. Meanwhile, Jerusalem Artichoke flower tea will add more taste to the tea and is an amazing tea to be paired with dinner. Remember, it takes care of balancing sugar levels in blood.
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM good night sleep
Tune your mind and body for good night sleep. Luckily, there are plenty of wildlife herbs that are suitable for this task. PLŪKT herbal tea blend White Night is made of forest herbs with a scent of Jasmine flowers. Our tea master has created White Night specifically for those who are in love with pre-sleep tea rituals. Alternatively, light Peppermint tea and Wild Raspberry leaf tea are perfect for calming your mind and preparing your body for good night sleep. Relaxing tea, a good read and off we go to bed!
